Quilled Frame - Shadow Box

A gift for a special friend...

Used two tone double fringed flower with combed leaves, punched flowers, and fringed flowers.

Whomever I gifted quilled cards, I could feel a desire in them to keep those under display...

So I thought of trying this shadow box which I saw made by various quillers...
Didn't come out well at all...
Gonna try to improve next time...

Also prepared a cover made of transparent plastic sheet to protect it from dust... Pics were pathetic...not uploading them

Need to improve on the part where one can insert pics too...

Birthday card with looped flowers

Another Birthday Card for a very special friend ...
I got a stamping set as I was window shopping in a mall nearby... I grabbed it the moment I saw.The cost was pretty reasonable.
It had butterfly and Best wishes stamp with red and green color...

The swirls are crimped.
Finally I got the looping idea from a video I saw on youtube...
But I put into flower petals instead...
And the beehived leaves...
Also used the border punch gifted by my sister...

Thanks to the quillers who share there ideas through videos and tutorials...
Hope I can share some too may be in future when I have enough resources...

The best part in gifting this was to capture the smile I saw in my friends eyes...

Quilled Frame

A simple Birthday frame for a friend made with Fringed flowers...
This is the first frame I designed with quilled flowers...and I had to design it in a great hurry...
I took almost 2 hours to assemble the flowers, leaves, swirls, pollen's and the rhinestones.
I had made these fringed flowers, and leaves before...

The day I made this frame I realized that its so good to just keep leaves and flowers ready.
Whenever there is an occasion it just takes few hours to assemble them to make a simple, beautiful and extraordinary gift which you cant buy it from any shop...

I had to rush to the restaurant as my friend was throwing a party on the same day...
I went to a small stationary shop nearby.
As I asked the shop boy to warp the frame I realized I need to take a picture and I just clicked this from my phone.
Then I took a photocopy of my friend put it inside and handed it over for wrapping...

I still remember the exiting happiness on my friends face whom I gifted this...

Its good to make people around you happy... Give happiness and you get it back in return in someway
I feel more inspired to spread happiness through simple quilling ideas...
